Big event every year at this time. We put out our hummingbird feeders and go on hummingbird watch. Today we put the feeders out and began watching for them to arrive for their summer stay. We usually see the first ones around the 3rd week in March and they stay with us until October. Most common for this area is the Black- Chinned hummingbird along with the Ruby-Throated. As always, we keep a nice bottle of bubbles chilled and ready to celebrate the first sighting. A small thing perhaps, but it’s life’s small pleasures that make it worth living and sharing with people you love. Life is short…..enjoy every bubble!
